With this move, it’s becoming more clear that Google is shifting focus away from some of its other AI-driven projects, like NotebookLM. While AI Studio is an interesting step forward, it’s disappointing to see them deprioritizing NotebookLM, which had the potential to be a powerful research and knowledge management tool. Google has a history of abandoning promising products, and it’s frustrating to see yet another one getting pushed aside when it could have been an invaluable asset for content creators and knowledge workers.
